I had a call last week from a customer that actually had my first class out of my home when i started and her 10 year old daughter loved making the Christmas cards and she wanted me to come back and do a birthday party class with her friends and these are the cards i came up with .

Inspired by nature

Card Easel using rub-ons

A good friend and customer of mine Andrea brought me a card easel for my birthday so i can put my cards on at my classes for everyone to see what there creating and i have finely got around to painting and decorating it i also wanted to use up all of my old retired rub-ons .

really really love the Ski slope DSP papers i will be very sad once it retires next month i think i might buy a few pkts before it dose . I would suggest you should to i can get it delivered direct to you for a small postage cost of $5.95 . Now back to my pine cone i was looking around for some new Christmas decoration ideas for my craft room and i found these great pine cones and they where so easy they only take about 20min to make that's how easy they are i did 6 in one day .

See through clip board with prettie kit and rub ons

I found this clear clip board at a cheapie shop where i live for only $2.50 and the idea's started i wanted to use my rub-ons and once i was finished i thought it need some flowers .

Before i had my son i used to work full time in a childcare centre and now my son attends the preschool and there roll board looked beyond it's time so i thought why not make them a pretty new fresh one and i added 2 pens as they keep losing them so i glued them inside and placed the cap back on.

For the black flower i used a dauber and my basic black ink pad and sponged it all over it . added a brad to hold it together and used crystal effects to glue it to the clip .

I have had the instructions to make this for quite some time and what a perfect time to try it out and it was so simple and i finely got to use my build - a brad i cant wait to do some more i am going to hang my baubles upside down from my roof in my craft room with my Kusudama ball ready for Christmas i will have to take a photo once i have finished decorating my room with Christmas goodies .

I had started one of these last year but i only got to do half the flower and i used the paper i was going to finish the other half with so i thought why not start all over again and use christmas holiday treasure DSP i think it looks great alot of hard work been put in to it but so worth it with the end result now i can hang it in my craft room for every one to see ready for christmas.

Seaworthy Sail boat

My upline Joanna had a card similar to this one that she showed me .

I thought i had to have a go this is a technique called Faux wood its so simple .

All you do is fold your card in half and swipe your card front the top to bottom in the same colour card than the next colour and the last colour which is the white use your sponged and swipe it all over not to much once your done used your pen end on the marker and draw a look like wood .
